An open & public communication to those involved in or responsible for dealing with an issue or problem affecting the nation and its citizens.
This site represents a recognition of the problems that the public and individuals face in communicating with those in positions of authority, power, influence, and responsibility. That problem, that having even a small chance of getting any meaningful communication with someone is often thwarted by the entity and organizational staff and processes that surround, protect and isolate those individuals for outside information and contacts.

Speaking to Power is an American concept but it is also a fanciful conceit since there are essential requirements that if not met render the notion ineffectual and naive. To speak to Power you have to have Power hear you. This site can't guarantee that those who are being addressed will see, hear or listen; but they can't say there wasn't an effort made to try.
